Delivery Policy

It is our aim to make your online shopping experience as quick and easy as possible. The range of delivery options listed below are therefore devised to ensure convenience and choice.

Estimated delivery time and charges

Delivery to addresses in the Maldives, except greater Male’ (City of Male’, Hulhumale’ and Vilingili) will vary significantly depending on the quantity and size of your order. Upon processing your order, an estimated delivery date for your prefered choice of will be communicated to your via email and/or sms. Standard Delivery (3 working days).

Standard Delivery (3 working days)

For orders of more than Mrf 500 (approx. USD 32.3) standard delivery is free. This service is provided to Greater Male’, which includes City of Male’, Hulhumale’ and Vilingili within 3 working days from the date of purchase.

Delivery charge of Mrf 15 will be applied for purchases less than Mrf 500.

Large items ordered before 5.30pm on weekdays will be delivered separately and incur an additional delivery fee of Mrf 100.

Delivery to other parts of Maldives archipelago will be based on standard postage charges. Custom delivery to island vessels for orders will be Mrf 50 per delivery. International delivery price and time will depend on buyer’s location and service opted, for example standard national parcel postage, DHL or FedEx services operating in the Maldives.

Premium Same Business Day Delivery

Same day delivery is provided at a Mrf 50 premium to addresses in the Greater Male’, including City of Male’, Hulhumale and Vilingili for orders placed before 11:30 am.

Free Click & Collect

Same day click and collect services are available for all orders placed before 3:00 pm. Click & Collect is a free service. Orders can be collected from our main ASTRABON Showroom, Orchid Magu, Male’.

Products which are in stock will be ready for collection within 2 hours. Products which need to be delivered to your selected store from our godowns are subject to standard delivery lead times. You will be notified via SMS and email when your order, or part of your order, is ready to collect.

When collecting your order from the store, please bring your tax invoice, order confirmation or photo ID.

Delivery Locations

We deliver to most residential and business addresses across Maldives. Standard Delivery (3 working days) is for Greater Male', including City of Male;, Hulhumale and Vilingili. Delivery to international addresses will depend on the delivery method requested by customer.

Large Item Deliveries

Large Item Deliveries require different transport vehicles and special handling. These deliveries take longer to transport and incur a separate delivery fee.

Large Item Deliveries can be collected from our ASTRABON Showroom, Orchid Magu, Male’ with no additional delivery fee however are subject to store delivery lead times.

Transport from the store to a nominated address is available for a fee of Mrf 50 or more depending on the shipment specification, such as size and weight.

Large Orders

Orders that weigh over 200kg may be subject to an additional delivery fee.

Our Customer Service Team will contact you prior to shipment.

Authority to Leave

When the 'Authority to leave' option is selected at the Check Out, your order will be left on your doorstep if no one is available to sign for the order.

Please note in this case ASTRABON cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged orders after they have been delivered.

Missed Deliveries

When the 'Authority to leave' option is not selected at the Check Out, and no one is available to sign for the order a card will be left with a contact number to arrange an alternative delivery day.

Public Holidays

When a delivery is scheduled on a public holiday, it will occur on the next business day.

Delivery Windows

Deliveries are made between 8am and 5pm local Maldives time Saturday - Thursday.

Please note that delivery time frames may change from time to time due to unforeseen circumstances.

Deliveries may take longer due to adverse weather conditions.

Special Orders

Certain products are marked as “Special Order” and are delivered separately. These products may be delivered directly from our suppliers.

The delivery time frame is approximate depending on supplier’s stock availability.

Customised Special Order products cannot be returned or refunded due to change of mind as they are manufactured and produced according to customer specifications. These products can only be returned if faulty or damaged.
